VAN SOEST is an American Indie rock band formed in 2014 by vocalist Michael Van Soest in Nashville, Tennessee. Inspired as a teenager by introspective vocalists like Jeff Buckley, Tom Yorke (RadioHead), and Chris Martin (Coldplay), the band centers around moody and melodic vocals, anthemic guitar and piano riffs, and hopelessly optimistic lyrics.

The bands Debut Album “ War Sleep” was released in November, 2015 showcasing rock anthems like “Concerned” and “Poison” while remaining vulnerable with songs like “What a Place” and “War”.
