Matt Dunn Band

My first record was just released--a 5 song EP of my originals--and I'm finally in a band. I turn 60 in December and after a long career in the business world, raising four kids and paying off the house mortgage, I feel like a brand new man has just been born. Now, I've never been one to worry about birthday numbers but it's hard to ignore 60 considering all the subtext that typically comes with it. But I don't feel 60, any more than I felt 50 or 40 or 30. I still want to do things. Just because my head has hit the pillow nearly 22,000 times doesn't mean I can't wake up with as a much enthusiasm as the 1,000th time, right? So, now the goal is becoming a music star. Well, sell a few records anyway. It doesn't matter as long as I'm cutting my own path.
