On April 3, 2014 RG Copper put the finishing touches on his 500th song he has written, performed and produced since 1990 much to the excitement of his already sizable army of fans. With the track expected to be a success, the exciting sound that he has made his own has gained interest from across the land. The development of his unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influences. As he listened to such artists as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Ricky Skaggs, John Denver and many others, RG dreamed of the day, from a young age, when he would write his own style of unique popular music.
His first foray into learning an instrument himself came when he started to take guitar lessons from well known guitarist Ricky Biszantz, from the local legendary group Rockduster, in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 13. Later he began to play bass guitar and keyboards which he continued with for years. It was the bass guitar in which he excelled and would play in high school bands while staying steady on the six string.Born in Ohio, he would develop his musical tastes and interests, and it was not long after picking up a guitar that he was experimenting with all genres in his special style of songwriting which has had a profound influence on the direction of his musical journey.
