The 1z's

The 1z's, Pronoucned "The Onesies" , are a Punk Rock band from Riverside, California. The band currently consists of Ryan DeMint (Age 15) on Guitar and Lead Vocals, Dean Raven (Age 18) on Bass and Vocals, and Colby Carter (Age 14) on Drums.The band was formed in the summer of 2014 which consisted of Ryan DeMint on Guitar and Vocals, Auston Powers on Bass, and Colby Carter on Drums. Despite being a bunch of 13 year olds, the trio learned many songs from their favorite bands such as NOFX, The Aquabats, Green Day, Descendents, ect. and also wrote a few of their own original songs. The band proceeded to play many shows around southern california, including house shows, local venues, and even more well known venues such as Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA. After a year of the band consistently writing songs and playing shows, the band parted ways with bass player auston. In the late summer of 2015, Auston was replaced by Dean Raven and the band continued to push toward the goal of sharing their music with the world and creating a strong fan base. As of right now, the band has released one 2 song demo featuring unpolished recordings of their original songs "Coda" and "Allie" and plan to release a 4 song EP in early 2016.
