Yiazmat

Yiazmat is an alternative-rock band formed in 2019, consisting of five members; Abram (vocal), Andre (guitar), Dimas (drum), Garry (guitar), and Hafiz (bass). The five started this journey in Bandung, West Java — the city where creativity flourishes — which leads them to believe there should be no particular forms nor rules in the creation of something, and that they never limit their ways of working on their pieces. Yiazmat emphasise the subtle but powerful tone of sarcasm in their works, accustoming the music to the members’ youthful and highly-spirited personas.

In February 2021, Yiazmat released their first single Lawan, kickstarting their journey in the music industry with an encouraging piece that tells a story of how one should pursue their dreams without the validation of others.
